Momma’s Blues presented its SS24 collection during the Paris Fashion Week called ‘Dolly takes a Trip” which is the beginning of a new journey for Hala Mouawad, the designer behind the brand. The brand is merging and reworking vintage material such as leftover denim and leather. The garments are full of mucial and cinematic references (the brand is evennamed after Townes Van Zandt’s 1971 album, Delta Mama Blues). With this collection, Momma’s Blues is also taking us on an imaginary journey together with Dolly Parton through the back country of America: jeans, leather and looks inspired by cowboys and Elvis are underlining the idea. // @mommasblues
